Ali Hussain Syed, MMAI, MBA is the Founder and Principal AI Advisor at SmartWorks AI — an independent AI and Microsoft advisory practice. With 20+ years of enterprise technology experience bridging business strategy and technology, Ali has spent his career helping organizations turn complex technology into practical results.
Drawing on experience supporting enterprise customers across Microsoft's technology ecosystem — through roles with organizations including Microsoft, Dell Technologies, Oracle, and Big Picture UK — his background spans enterprise sales, cloud transformation, AI strategy, executive consulting, customer enablement, and digital transformation.
Today, as an independent advisor, he helps organizations successfully adopt Microsoft's AI ecosystem — Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Chat, Copilot Studio, GitHub Copilot, Azure AI, Power Automate, and Windows AI PCs — alongside AI readiness, executive strategy, and adoption programs. He holds a Master of Management in Artificial Intelligence (MMAI) from Queen's University.
